Geheimnisnacht/Halloween is upon us! If you haven't seen already Warhammer Community has released some special rules for Blood Bowl Geheimnisnacht Special – The Showdown in Sylvania.
The Sylvania Showdown has a new Weather table, a new Inducement and a special rule designed for use with our four undead teams:
It so happens that these are the teams I have been covering in this Geheimnishnacht series, except for the Tomb Kings. They currently don't have a plastic team from Games Workshop but I have covered the old metal team for you Skelebob fans who like a bit of ancient Egyptian flavour on your bones.
Tonight's midnight instalment is dedicated to the Fangclub of the supreme villains of horror. Put away your garlic and cover your crucifixes, it is time for the revamped vampire team! Now with positionals and reworked bloodlust. We still have Thrall linemen for your snacking needs. You can still have you six normal vampires but now specialist as positionals: Throwers, Runners and Blitzers.
The team also now have access to the new Vargheist big guy but it is not included in the box. The Vargheist can be picked up from Forge World, but I'm planning on getting one from BruteFun Miniatures. Bonehead podcast is doing a printing service so I might give it a go as my first 3d printed miniature. I have been a bit hesitant getting involved 3d printing, I've been sticking to Games Workshop models as I am worried about off gassing and uv degradation that could come with less stable materials used in 3d printing. The prototypes I've been printing at work did a lot of sweating after about a week so not the best. So I'm planning to just dip my toes in to see how it holds up long term.

The new packaging's easter egg.

Transfers, I don't understand the inconsistency in size of these transfer sheets. The bat symbols are reused from the Necromantic Horrors.
