Back side of the box
Inside the box we are met with white and green plastic; not the same cold white as the heroes in Warhammer Quest Cursed City, but more of a warm cream. The green is not as dark as the black orcs in the Blood Bowl second season box. It’s made in the uk, here in Nottingham. I think all my Blood Bowl boxes have come stamped 'made in UK'. I wonder how much the difference of production in the UK is to China, I guess it is partly on how big quantity they can turn out as well.
College of Life sprues. I’ve said this before, the stunties are being short changed by GW. They get less plastic in the team boxes for their money. Less positionals. But whats most important, only one sprue with the ball and they haven’t even included it in this pack. And it’s the foot long ball´obviously the best ball.
I saw some interesting wardancers on reddit by Wallpwork where they used other team's transfers as tattoos. I'm tempted to give it a go but I have six other teams on the go that I should finish first.
College of Death sprues, the only player on the sprues that is not on the death team is the spare werewolf they have included special rules for in the Werewolf's Lair
In a game called Death Match, can the College of Life ever really have a fighting chance???
Divider to protect the sprues from damaging the book and tiles. The box art on one side and this on the other. So new starter box next team released were Khorne, then Norse and then Amazons. So was this supposed to go out before Amazons or were the Amazons delayed so far that they couldn’t include them when this went to production? Not that I got anything against Elven Union, just wondering how did they come to choose them? Did GW need to boost their Elven Union sales? Wouldn't Necromantic make more sense being released just before / at the same time as the new starter box? What are your theories?
Inside the box under the divider. It was shrink wrapped but I had a peak before the photos.
Book and Instructions
Plenty of new lore and new art inside the book. I'm not sure about all the new art though, some of it seems a bit off.
Death Tiles Spike Pit. Both previous editions of Dungeon Bowl has had spike pit rules so it was high time they showed up. Not sure if this was how I envisioned it.
Square tile Werewolf's Lair complete with dog house.
Life Tiles on the flip sides of the death tiles.
Fountain of Youth might be reference to fountain of light..
