My Dark Elf team, made entirely of conversions, was the second team I ever finished painting. When the official team was released by games Workshop, I still bought it, as I am nothing if not a completionist, and you never know when it might come in handy. I have thought about putting together some Dungeon Bowl teams and I need a dark elf for the Chaos Pact team and for those dark elf mirror matches.
Front of the box. Released back in July of 2018, second team that were released with a corresponding Spike! journal.
Back of the box. The team provided consists of: 6 linemen, 2 runners, 2 blitzers, and 2 witch elves. You can roster a maximum of 4 blitzers so you would need to get the additional two if you wanted them. You can also roster 2 assassins that are not in the box, but are available to buy from Forge World in a two pack with a male and female assassin. You can see the assassins painted up in this post.
The sprue. The team aesthetic with the plume design on the helmets is a clear nod back to the 2nd edition dark elf team sculpted by Michael Perry and released in May of 1988.
